Memorial Tree

Memorial Tree

The following transcripts are taken from the Memorial Tree that was created in memory of Ella by all of her friends and staff at The PACE Centre. Every child and member of staff that were touched by our angel contributed their most special, lasting memories of Ella to create a tree that will forever be.

Ella Bean
My Little Peppa Pig Pal!
You were a little star!
I miss your clever voice and your cheeky face :)

Love Sam xx

Well, what can I possibly say about our little Ella-Beans that hasn’t already been said? You were such a superstar El’s, you always tried hard & had a sheer enthusiasm for life that was difficult to believe sometimes! You brought a smile to my face everyday & you cracked us all up with your “one liners” & cheeky sense of humour :) I will particularly remember you during hand programmes, sports afternoons & any time we sing the rainbow song!

I know I only had you in my group for a year, but it was a great privilege to work with you & get to know the fabulous little girl that you were! There is a huge gap in Rowan Class that can never truly be filled, but we will think of you every day El’s & keep your memory very much alive.

We will miss you El’s

P.S. Now no giving those angels as hard a time as you gave us! :)

To my friend Ella, I hope you will be okay in the sky. Thanks for coming out to play with us. I will miss you very much.

I will miss my pretty friend Ella

Love, Freddie, xx

Ella-beans,

I will never forget your beautiful, cheeky, contagious smile and enthusiasm for all that you did, you certainly always lit up the room, being the star that you’ve always been and ensured that there was never, ever a dull moment. No one could feel anything but happy when with you!

You have given me SO many amazing memories, I really wouldn’t know where to start ..... like when you were in Ivy Group and couldn’t stop laughing when you were very slippery, covered from head to toe in lard after making bird cakes, I can’t imagine what Mummy and Daddy thought when you arrived home that afternoon. Or on all the very many occasions you amazed me with just how clever you are!! You always provided me with a ‘wow’ moment, working so hard!! I will always think of you saying “I don’t know, I just don’t know!”, and laughing cheekily before letting us know your answer in some lessons though!

I will especially miss our chats, getting the giggles with you (especially when we were meant to be concentrating during a programme!), your voice and what you would come out with (like when I told the class we were going to do drama, you said the biggest “oooooohh” with the biggest smile!), your beautiful singing and especially that amazing smile of yours and cheeky twinkle in your eyes. You will also always be my ‘sit up queen!!’, you very clever girl!!!

I will never forget you, and I know you will always have the ability to make me and everyone smile whenever we think of you.

Lots of Love, Always, Laura, xxx

Ella Bella,

There are so many things that I will miss, your cheeky grin, sticking out your tongue at me when I say “Hi”, our little chats at lunch time (“I want nilla shake”), and our silly little songs (there was an Ella who liked to sit under her umbrella). You made every day at PACE worth it because you never complained and always made us laugh. I hope wherever you are, you’re happy and that you never stop smiling that smile.

I miss you Ella

Lots of Love, Colette, xxxx

The red team will work very hard for you.

Love from Frances

Thank you for making my short time with you so much fun! Ella your smile and cheeky sense of humour always made me laugh. You’re a star, but the angels in heaven were missing you and called you home to be with them.

God bless you always

“Baby Africa” :)

Leandra, xxx, xxxx

A memory of Ella: her insisting one day being called “Baby Ella” & not answering to anyone unless they called her “Baby Ella”! She asked Alex and Tomek to play babies at lunchtime (they didn’t coz they’re boys!).

Will always remember Christmas Play practice, when you had to shout out the different countries Santa visited, you did it with style & a smile :)

With love Petula, xxx, (Magpie group)

Ella Beans!

Every memory I have is a cherished one. I enjoyed every school day hearing your version of “the rainbow song” and the anticipation and excitement of our art sessions together. I will miss your zest for life and cheekiness you brought to PACE.

Sleep tight.

We will miss you at PACE

love Dan

Shouting “Tracy Baker” in her lovely “sing song” voice ..... & “Sharon”!!! in her not so lovely sing song voice! :)

Memory of Ella: Making sandwiches on visitor’s day. Ella worked very carefully to make her sandwich. She told us that it was for her brother Max. Ella really enjoyed looking at everyone’s sandwiches at the end. Good fun!

My Ella Beans was my little ray of sunshine who made me laugh every day. I have too many memories to write down, but I will never forget my special, beautiful little girl.

I love you and miss you so much.

Ells Bells, xxx, R.I.P.

When Alex thinks of Ella, he thinks she’s pretty.

So many happy memories of a gorgeous girl. You made us smile and laugh out loud every day. Sleep peacefully Ella bean!

I will miss you.

“Tracy Baker!”

I would like to remember Ella’s lovely smile and how proud she was in her speech programme when making different letter sounds. A very special little girl.

The things I will miss about Ella are too many to say, she brought a smile to school and shared it around, always with a perfectly timed comment to make us laugh. There were days when she decided that “no” was the only word she would say, and others when the constant call of “Tracy Baker” filled the air. She was kind and thoughtful with her friends and helpers. My last memory is her lovely pizza island which she finished off with 2 big sheep on top.

Sleep well Ella x
