About Ella

Our angel, Ella Louise Kenny, was born on 9 November 2005 with her twin brother Max. Ella sadly passed away on the 10 July 2012 aged just 6 years old. A beautiful, strong and inspirational soul, Ella touched the lives of many, many people, brought so much love and joy, and taught so many lessons that will always be cherished.

Sweet, kind, and ever so cheeky Ella, you were one of two very special and beautiful gifts that we never thought would come to be. On that day that you came, you showed us you could not wait; you burst into the world ... and we were not ready. We watched you and Max fight for your lives, and when hope was all but lost, you proved the experts wrong and decided to stay ... good for you sweetheart!

You were our fighter, you taught us about strength, resilience and unconditional love. Your winning smile would melt the heart of every person that had the privilege of knowing you ... and you knew it! We have so, so many special memories of you darling, and there are so many things that we will miss.

You are our love, our journey, our perfect princess ... in life you were an angel and a devil of fun, but in passing you are our hope, a star and a hole that we will never fill.

We are so proud to have been your Mummy and Daddy.
